Solidcore to Open New Location on Manhattan's Upper East Side
The low-impact strength training brand has signed a lease for a space in The Langdon, a luxury rental building.
Solidcore, a fitness brand specializing in low-impact strength training, is set to open a new location on Manhattan's Upper East Side. The company has signed a lease for a space within The Langdon, a luxury rental building situated at 1695 Second Avenue, at the corner of East 88th Street.
The Langdon, developed by Alchemy-ABR Investment Partners, is among the newer residential towers constructed along the Q subway line. This strategic location aims to serve the residents of the building and the surrounding neighborhood.
Matthew Schuss and Jesse Wolff of JLL represented the landlord in the transaction, while Sean Young of Sabre represented Solidcore. While not officially confirmed, JLL marketing materials indicated the space comprises 2,507 square feet.
Schuss commented that Solidcore's focus on a high-quality customer experience aligns well with the caliber of The Langdon and the expectations of its residents. The building's proximity to public transportation, including the Q subway line, is also a key factor in attracting new businesses.
The Upper East Side is also anticipating the arrival of two major food markets in previously vacant storefronts. Happier Grocery is slated to open in the former movie theater at 210 East 86th Street, and H Mart has long been promised for 223 East 86th Street, further enhancing the retail and service landscape of the neighborhood.
