Vergara, known for her role as Gloria Delgado-Pritchett on the ABC sitcom Modern Family, has previously discussed her approach to fitness and diet. She told Shape magazine that her workout motto is "No pain, no cake!" and that she exercises harder the day after indulging.
Her perspective on food began to evolve in 2005 when she moved to Los Angeles. She noted that living in the city influenced her choices, leading her to opt for dishes like sushi and salads over high-fat options. Vergara has also credited a healthy lifestyle, including not smoking and moderate drinking, with helping her maintain her appearance. She told the Associated Press that while she is generally responsible with her health, sugar consumption has been a persistent challenge, though she manages it in periods.
