Double Bay's self-styled 'Russian royal,' Yuliya Sharipova, has been excused from appearing in Downing Centre Local Court regarding a restraining order stemming from an alleged domestic incident with her partner, logistics executive Aaron Powell. The Apprehended Domestic Violence Order (ADVO), issued for Powell's protection, was set to last until December 2027. Sharipova had faced a common assault charge (DV) related to the incident, for which she was convicted in her absence and fined. However, she later sought and was granted an annulment of the matter.

Despite the annulment, Sharipova's legal proceedings continue. Her case is next listed for hearing on August 24 and 25, with a Russian interpreter required for the first day. During a recent court mention, Sharipova was reportedly in Los Angeles, believed to be staying at the Beverly Hills Hotel. She and Powell, who live together in Bellevue Hill, are understood to have a history of frequent breakups and reconciliations. Powell is a director at Tyne Container Services, working with the Tzaneros family in the freight and logistics industry.

In a separate incident, boutique property developer Nick Couloumbis has been barred from Club Rose Bay following an alleged late-night altercation with Angus Onisforou, son of property investor Theo Onisforou. Couloumbis, who denies the charges, was reportedly unwell and unable to attend court on Thursday but later appeared alongside his barrister. The alleged incident occurred on May 23, involving Couloumbis and a group confronting Onisforou and his friend Luke Gaffney. An eyewitness claimed Couloumbis made threats and punched Gaffney. NSW Police confirmed an investigation and subsequent arrest of a 30-year-old man charged with attempting to stalk or intimidate with intent to cause fear of harm, and common assault. While accounts of the dispute vary, detectives reportedly seized CCTV footage. Couloumbis' bail conditions prohibit him from entering Club Rose Bay or contacting Onisforou and Gaffney.

Meanwhile, Tamie Ingham, heiress to a poultry dynasty, has welcomed her first child, a boy, with French celebrity chef Guillaume Brahimi. The birth occurred several months ago but was not publicly announced. Ingham, who was recently seen without a visible baby bump, has made public appearances in Sydney's eastern suburbs. While this is Ingham's first child, Brahimi has four older children from his previous marriage. The couple married in Paris in June 2023, with their wedding attended by notable figures including Karl Stefanovic and the Murdochs.
