James, 28, shared a video demonstrating a holiday makeup routine while wearing a low-cut top, which prompted several negative remarks about her appearance in the comments section.
Some commenters falsely suggested James had undergone a "botched" cosmetic surgery, with remarks including questions about the appearance of her sternum and cleavage. Other comments directly criticized potential breast implants, advising her to seek a refund.
Following the negative feedback, James's fans rallied to her defense, describing the comments as "appalling" and "jealous." Some users pointed out that any perceived indentation in her décolletage could be a result of pectus excavatum, a congenital chest wall deformity, and urged for kindness.
James later addressed the situation in a video shared to her Instagram Stories. While on holiday in Israel, she posted a clip of herself in a bikini, stating, "Woke up to so many messages! Overwhelmed with love from everyone. F*** the haters. My mum gave me this chest and I love it." She has identified herself as a model and social media influencer, co-founding the cosmetics brand Copini Beauty. She is married to Sydney real estate agent Warren Ginsberg.
