Social media influencer Ayzia J. Toledo, known online as Ayzia J, has died at the age of 22 following a car crash in New Jersey. The incident occurred when Toledo, driving a BMW on a freeway, reportedly lost directional control, causing the vehicle to veer off the road and flip, striking a tree. This is according to New Jersey Police.
A front seat passenger, Henrietta Carter, also 22, died in the crash. A third occupant in the backseat sustained minor injuries. The cause of the accident is currently under investigation.
Toledo had amassed over 300,000 followers across social media platforms, where she shared lifestyle and travel content. Her Instagram bio listed her as a TV personality, content creator, and model. Her family has launched a GoFundMe page to cover funeral and memorial expenses, describing her as having a "beautiful spirit, a vibrant personality, and a way of making everyone around her feel seen, valued, and loved."
The family's tribute on the fundraising page further stated that Toledo "had a lasting impression on everyone she encountered" with her "authenticity, energy, and unique light." The page aims to raise $13,000 and has so far garnered over $8,000. Followers have also paid tribute to Toledo in the comments sections of her social media posts.
