Manchester City striker Erling Haaland has filed a lawsuit against Norwegian Air Shuttle over a social media post that featured his signature ponytail hairdo photoshopped onto an airplane. The lawsuit, filed by Haaland and York Promotions Ltd., targets a since-deleted post by the airline that depicted one of its planes with Haaland's hairstyle and the caption, "We've never looked more Norwegian."
A hearing in the case is scheduled for October 9 in Oslo. Norwegian Air Shuttle's press officer, Eivind Hammer Myhre, stated that the company "do[es] not understand" the lawsuit, adding that they were "cheering on the national team this summer through a few spontaneous posts based on trends in social media."
