Sober Living Home Where Presley Gerber Died Had Previous Overdose Incident

The sober living facility where Presley Gerber, son of Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber, died at age 27 from a suspected overdose, reportedly had another overdose incident approximately seven months before his death. Police records obtained by TMZ show that officers responded to a call from the Resolutions Living facility on February 18 regarding a patient who had allegedly overdosed.

According to a source connected to Resolutions Living, a female patient was found unresponsive but was revived after receiving multiple doses of Narcan. Upon arrival, police determined that no further medical treatment was necessary for the patient, and officers left after speaking with her.

Gerber was found dead on September 20 after going into cardiac arrest. He had checked into the Resolutions Living facility the night before his death. Sources previously told TMZ that Gerber had reportedly used drugs on Saturday afternoon and expressed concern about losing control. His sober coach contacted the facility, informing them Gerber was under the influence, and he was subsequently admitted.

Insiders claim the sober coach had planned to take Gerber to a rehabilitation facility the following Monday but needed a temporary placement for the weekend, leading to his stay at Resolutions Living. Sources connected to the facility reportedly told TMZ that the admissions officer who admitted Gerber has since been fired.

Gerber was reportedly staying in a separate house on the grounds of the facility, which advertises itself as a luxury property offering views of the ocean and city lights, nestled in a discreet neighborhood. The facility's mission statement indicates a goal of providing structure, recreational opportunities, life skills, vocational coaching, accountability, and community support for individuals recovering from mental health and addiction issues.

The facility features spacious living quarters, outdoor seating, a movie theater, and a fitness gym. Residents are offered chef-prepared meals, stocked pantries, and 24-hour on-site staff support.

Gerber had openly discussed his decade-long struggles with drug addiction and mental health. The investigation into his death has not focused on fentanyl, pending the Medical Examiner's toxicology report. However, Daily Mail previously obtained audio of a 911 dispatch call from the Santa Monica rehab mentioning "cardiac arrest" and "overdose."

Sources close to Gerber had also told TMZ that a physician had been prescribing him ketamine, despite knowing his history with the drug. Ketamine can be used in addiction treatment, though it is not FDA-approved for that purpose.

Gerber, who began modeling at age 15, stepped away from the industry after a few years, citing pressure and feelings of inadequacy. His parents, Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber, released a joint statement expressing their heartbreak and pride in their son's kindness and vulnerability. His sister, Kaia Gerber, also shared a heartfelt tribute detailing her grief.

His sister Kaia Gerber, 25, also shared her own tribute, in which she revealed the depths of her grief, writing, 'I am, quite literally, down on my f***ing knees'; The two seen in May
