Snezana Wood Spotted Without Wedding Ring Amid Sam Wood's Domestic Violence Charges

Snezana Wood was seen out in Melbourne without her wedding ring, as her husband Sam Wood remains incarcerated on domestic violence charges. Wood was accompanied by her young daughter and a female friend during the outing.

The sighting follows the confirmation that the sale of Snezana and Sam's Brighton property is proceeding, despite Sam's current jail status. The couple had initially planned to list the $7.15 million home, which they purchased in 2025, shortly before Wood's arrest. According to the Herald Sun, the listing was "days, if not hours, away" at the time of his incarceration. Pre-sale preparations are reportedly underway, with an online sales campaign expected to launch soon.

Sam Wood, a personal trainer, was arrested and charged with domestic violence offenses earlier this month following an alleged assault at their Noosa holiday home on October 3. He was denied bail when he appeared in Maroochydore Magistrates' Court. Prosecutors allege that during the incident, Wood pushed his wife into a wardrobe, grabbed her by the throat, threw her against a wall, and struck her head against the floor. The alleged assault was reportedly witnessed by Snezana's daughter Eve, who called emergency services.

During the court hearing, police prosecutor Sergeant Jeanette Grigoris noted that Wood had allegedly choked Snezana in a similar incident previously, although he was not charged at that time. Sergeant Grigoris stated that Wood's behavior had been escalating. The court heard that an argument ensued before they were to return to Melbourne, leading to Snezana being pushed into a wardrobe. When Eve intervened, Sam allegedly approached her aggressively, prompting Snezana to attempt to separate them. He then allegedly placed his hands around Snezana's throat, forced her to the ground, pinned her, and banged her head, leaving her unable to breathe. Snezana reportedly told police she feared for her life and believed Sam was going to kill her. She also described Sam as "volatile and prone to angry outbursts" and stated she had to "walk on eggshells around him."

Wood's lawyer, Mr. Cuskelly, stated that his client suffers from severe depression and may rely on self-defense if the case goes to trial. He contested the extent of Snezana's injuries, noting that tendered photographs did not show a head injury described by a paramedic and questioned the absence of throat injuries. "My client denies committing these offenses," Cuskelly said, adding that Wood had no prior court appearances and that his depression was considered "extremely severe."

Fans have suggested that Snezana should take over as the face of "28 by Sam Wood," the fitness business founded by her husband. The Instagram page for "28 by Sam Wood" was recently taken down following Sam's arrest. Sam Wood founded the company ten years ago and sold its parent company, Australian Life Tech, for a reported $71 million in 2022. DBG Health, which owns myDNA, terminated its commercial arrangements with Sam Wood shortly after his arrest.

Snezana Wood first gained public attention in 2015 as the winner of the third season of "The Bachelor." She and Sam Wood married in 2018 and have three daughters together. For many years, Snezana was featured in training videos to promote the company on social media and supported Sam's business ventures.
