Slim Chickens has launched a limited-time offering of chicken tenders, tender bites, and wings seasoned with a blend inspired by Dr Pepper. The new "Dr Pepper Blasted" seasoning is applied by hand after the chicken is fried, coating the breading with the soda's distinct sweet flavor.

The collaboration, which began September 14, is timed to coincide with football season, a period when fried chicken and wings are popular choices for gatherings.

'We don't add flavors to our tenders lightly - tenders and sauce are the whole reason people know us,' a Slim Chickens representative stated. 'Dr Pepper Blasted cleared that bar. It is bold, it is unmistakable, and the only place in the country you can get it is at Slim Chickens.'

According to Trish Riddle of Keurig Dr Pepper, the partnership aims to bring the soda's unique taste to life in new ways. 'Slim Chickens has done exactly that with Dr Pepper Blasted. And there's no better time to introduce it than during football season, when fans are gathering for tailgates, watch parties and game-day traditions built around great food, great company and an ice-cold Dr Pepper,' Riddle said.

Founded in Fayetteville, Arkansas, in 2003, Slim Chickens has grown to over 300 locations globally. The chain is recognized for its chicken tenders, wings, and a wide variety of dipping sauces.

This partnership also reflects Dr Pepper's ongoing strategy of exploring collaborations with fast food chains. Previously, Sonic announced a 'Blueberry Pie made with Dr Pepper' drink, and Dippin' Dots revealed plans for a Dr Pepper-flavored frozen treat in 2025.

The "Dr Pepper Blasted" seasoning will be available at U.S. Slim Chickens locations through November 16.
