Skattebo Eyes Redemption for Giants After Limited Role vs. Saints
Giants running back Cam Skattebo expressed a desire for more opportunities in Sunday's matchup against the Texans, following a game where he did not receive any carries.
New York Giants running back Cam Skattebo is looking to rebound in Sunday's game against the Houston Texans, aiming for redemption after a minimal role in the previous week's loss to the New Orleans Saints. Skattebo, who had been the team's primary ball carrier in the first five games of the season, was notably absent from the offensive snaps against the Saints.
"Six plays last week kind of killed me," Skattebo told The Post on Thursday, referring to his limited involvement in the previous contest. He was candid about his frustration, stating that he received zero carries against New Orleans. Prior to that game, Skattebo had accumulated 81 carries for 294 yards across the first five games.
The Giants are preparing for a crucial matchup against the surging Texans in Houston. Skattebo's increased involvement could be a key factor for the team as they look to improve their record.
