Sir Tom Jones Postpones Shows Due to Flu
The 86-year-old singer announced the rescheduling of his Los Angeles and San Diego concerts via social media.
Sir Tom Jones, 86, has postponed two upcoming concerts due to a severe case of the flu. The singer announced on social media that his shows in Los Angeles and San Diego, originally scheduled for October 27 and 28, have been rescheduled.
The rescheduled dates are November 3rd at The Rady Shell at Jacobs Park in San Diego and November 4th at The Greek Theatre in Los Angeles. Jones expressed his apologies for any inconvenience caused by the postponements.
"Following doctor’s advice, I unfortunately have to reschedule tonight’s show in Los Angeles and tomorrow’s show in San Diego," Jones stated on Instagram. He assured fans that all tickets for the original dates would remain valid for the new performances, but offered refunds to those unable to attend the rescheduled dates.
This is not the first time the singer has had to postpone shows due to illness. In July 2025, Jones had to reschedule a concert in Bremen, Germany, after contracting an upper respiratory infection that required treatment and rest.
In related news, it was recently reported that Jones turned down a 'super guest judge role' on The Voice UK after being axed from his judging position after 13 years. Bosses had reportedly planned to refresh the lineup with new judges. Jones had expressed his dissatisfaction with the proposed reduced guest role.
