A threat against the life of singer Pink was sent via email to a Manhattan hotel on Monday, law enforcement sources reported. The email, which was referred to as “deranged” and “insane,” was directed to the front desk of the Walker Hotel Greenwich Village and requested that the message be relayed to the artist.
The threat referenced Pink's recently purchased townhouse in the Greenwich Village neighborhood, which she acquired for $21.5 million, according to the sources. It remains unclear whether the singer, 46, was at the hotel when the communication was received.
No injuries were reported in connection with the incident, and no arrests have been made. A representative for Pink did not immediately respond to requests for comment. The New York Police Department has not yet provided information regarding the threat.
