Singer Duncan Sheik Hospitalized in Critical Condition
The 56-year-old vocalist's team released a statement on Instagram confirming his hospitalization and critical but stable condition.
Singer Duncan Sheik is currently hospitalized in New York City in critical condition, according to a statement posted on his Instagram page.
"Duncan is currently receiving medical care and remains in critical but stable condition," his team announced. "Out of respect for Duncan and our family, we will not be sharing any further medical details at this time."
The statement also conveyed a request for privacy, adding, "We kindly ask for privacy during this incredibly difficult time and will provide updates when appropriate. Thank you for the continued love and support."
Sheik, 56, is best known for his 1996 hit "Barely Breathing," which earned him a Grammy nomination.
