Singer D4vd, whose real name is David Burke, allegedly fathered a child with Celeste Rivas when she was 13 years old and he was 18, according to text messages revealed in court. The messages, reportedly exchanged on January 8, 2024, suggest Rivas had become pregnant with Burke's child and underwent an abortion.
In the alleged texts, Burke expresses sorrow for the situation, stating, "I’m sorry again baby i didnt want to ever put you through this." Rivas appears to reassure him, responding, "No its ok. Don’t worry both of us are able to take care of it." Further messages show Burke acknowledging Rivas's strength and expressing love, to which she reciprocates, adding, "Its ok though neither of us are capable of watching the baby."
When Burke asks, "When you gonna get it done?", Rivas replies, "Two days." He then asks, "My mom said I have to ask this question, don’t get offended, but is it mine?" Rivas confirms, "Of course it is David."
Additional alleged text messages from January 9, 2024, suggest that the abortion had been completed.
