Simone Biles has returned to the hospital for a medical procedure, sharing the update with her followers on Instagram. The Olympian, 29, posted a black-and-white photo of herself in a hospital gown and shower cap, seated next to her husband, Jonathan Owens.
"His birthday but he takes me to get my procedure 🥹🥹🥹🤍🤍🤍," Biles captioned the snapshot. She added with a laugh, "I woke up singing BossMan Dlow’s ‘Talk my Sh–’ 🤣🤣🤣🤣."
This comes nearly two months after Biles revealed in June that she had experienced a terrifying health situation, stating she "almost died" but did not elaborate on the specifics at the time. She explained her decision to share the experience was due to the unexpected nature of the emergency, saying it "wasn’t on her bingo card."
Biles, who is married to NFL player Jonathan Owens, described the June incident as "one of, if not the scariest experience of my life," particularly as Owens was away for preseason practices with the Indianapolis Colts. She thanked her "close circle" for their support, including those who checked in, visited, and sent flowers, and promised to share more details with her fans "sooner or later."
Biles and Owens, 31, met on the dating app Raya in March 2020 and became Instagram official in August of that year. Owens proposed on Valentine's Day two years later, and the couple married in a civil ceremony in Houston in April 2023, followed by a larger celebration in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, a month later.
Most recently, Biles shared her excitement about attending the wedding of Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce at Madison Square Garden, describing it as a "beautiful ceremony" and noting her gratitude for being able to witness such an event.
