Sienna Miller Was Pregnant During Filming of 'War'
Actress Sienna Miller revealed she was pregnant for the entirety of filming the new divorce drama 'War', reaching 35 weeks by the end of production.
Actress Sienna Miller, 44, has disclosed that she was pregnant throughout the entire filming of her new divorce drama "War." By the conclusion of shooting, she was 35 weeks pregnant.
Miller welcomed her third child in April with partner Oli Green, 29. The couple became engaged two months later. They also welcomed a child in January 2024. Miller is also mother to 14-year-old daughter Marlowe, from her previous relationship with actor Tom Sturridge.
During her pregnancy with her third child, Miller filmed "War," in which she stars opposite Dominic West. The series chronicles the dissolution of a marriage. Miller portrays Carla Duval, while West, 56, plays her ex-husband, Morgan Henderson. The legal drama centers on two elite London law firms competing for victory.
In a recent interview, Miller described the filming process as challenging due to her pregnancy, noting long days that required her to "leave and come home in the dark."
She shared the set with Phoebe Fox, who was also pregnant during filming. Fox's pregnancy was incorporated into the plot of "War."
Miller told The Observer that Fox "got in first," and they would share snacks between takes. Earlier this month, she mentioned feeling like a "lactating heifer" and struggling to dress her changing body after being pregnant or breastfeeding for nearly four years.
In a candid conversation with Vogue, she admitted to losing her fashion sense and questioning her identity due to sleep deprivation and the demands of motherhood. "I just feel like a kind of lactating heifer," she stated.
Miller also revealed that she often seeks fashion advice from model Alexa Chung, her ex-partner's current partner. She appeared on The Jimmy Fallon Show in New York just three weeks after giving birth in May, where she spoke about the exhaustion of new motherhood.
She described juggling her newborn and toddler on a transatlantic flight as a "disaster," admitting she broke down in the immigration line.
"War" is scheduled for release in the UK on October 2 on Sky and Now.
