Actress Sienna Miller has spoken openly about the intense challenges of new motherhood, describing herself as a "lactating heifer" and noting her struggles with her changing body and sleep deprivation.

Miller, 44, welcomed her third child in April with fiancé Oli Green, 29. The couple became engaged two months after the child's birth, and this followed the birth of another child in January 2024. Miller also has a 14-year-old daughter, Marlowe, from a previous relationship with actor Tom Sturridge.

In a recent interview with Vogue, Miller expressed how she feels she has "completely lost my fashion sense" after nearly four years of continuous pregnancy or breastfeeding. "I think something happens to the brain – or you're so f***ing tired – that you sacrifice your identity," she stated, adding that she questions who she is due to a lack of sleep. She also described her "massive boobs, which I don't know how to dress."

On the day of her interview with Vogue, Miller recalled being "up breastfeeding since the crack of dawn." She also shared that she often seeks fashion advice from Alexa Chung, who is currently partnered with her ex-partner Tom Sturridge, including for the recent premiere of "Oasis: Don't Look Back In Anger."

Appearing on The Jimmy Fallon Show in New York just three weeks after giving birth, Miller confessed that motherhood could be exhausting, finding it difficult to string sentences together due to sleep deprivation. Despite the exhaustion, she expressed being "madly in love with my baby."

Miller recounted a particularly challenging transatlantic flight with her toddler and newborn, noting that her toddler proved more demanding than her teenage daughter. "The toddler now wins hands down. It was an absolute disaster," she said, adding, "There's no negotiating. I got to the immigration line and just broke down."

In a separate conversation with Vogue, Miller also reflected on her postpartum experience with her third child, which she described as "bliss." She had previously come to terms with the possibility of not having more children after turning 40, making the surprise arrival of her new baby a source of "euphoria" and "existential relief."
