Shelby Tribble Reveals 'Laid-Back' Wedding Plans with Sam Mucklow, Expresses Desire to Be a Wife

TOWIE personality Shelby Tribble, who rose to fame on Love Island, is looking forward to the role of wife as she plans her wedding to fellow TOWIE star Sam Mucklow. The couple, who have been together for six years and share two sons, have kept their wedding plans relaxed, with Tribble describing herself and Mucklow as "pretty laid back."

Despite the absence of a set venue, date, or guest list, Tribble is already excited about the dress-selection process, including trying out new digital tools and traditional fittings. "I can’t wait to try... I will look forward to trying one of the dresses on because even that in itself is part of getting married," she stated.

For Tribble, the impending marriage signifies more than a lavish event; it's about celebrating the relationship she has built with Mucklow, whom she considers her "best friend." She also noted the importance of sharing a surname with their children. "To have that kind of sealed – I know it doesn’t have to be sealed in marriage – but obviously marriage is such an amazing thing. I’m just looking forward to, I don’t know, being a wife," she shared.

Tribble anticipates a less traditional bridal experience, admitting she was never the type of person to dream of a "big white wedding." She finds the idea of all eyes on her daunting and expects to be a bride focused on ensuring her guests enjoy themselves. "I can be quite socially awkward, but I know it’s family and friends, so it’s fine," she said.

Their children, Abel, four, and Tesky, one, are expected to be involved in the ceremony. Tribble also highlighted the support of Mucklow's sister, Billi Mucklow, whom she described as an "incredible" and "thoughtful" future sister-in-law.

Sam Mucklow proposed to Tribble on New Year's Eve. The couple first met on TOWIE in 2018 and confirmed their relationship the following year. They welcomed their first son, Abel, in 2020 and their second child in 2025.
