Shelby Tribble Looks Forward to 'Being a Wife' Amid Laid-Back Wedding Plans with Sam Mucklow

TOWIE star Shelby Tribble, who is engaged to fellow cast member Sam Mucklow, has shared her anticipation for married life, describing her fiancé as her "best friend." The couple, who have been together for six years and share two children, are planning a "laid-back" wedding, with Tribble admitting their plans are still in their early stages. "You’ve got two laid-back people," she explained.

Despite the relaxed approach to planning, Tribble is eager to find her wedding dress. She expressed excitement about trying on gowns, noting that the process itself is a significant part of getting married. While she appreciates the advancements in digital dress selection, she also wants to incorporate traditional elements into the experience. "We still want to have a bit of reality," she stated.

The prospect of marriage holds particular significance for Tribble, especially with their children, Abel and Tesky. "It's quite nice to maybe have the same surname as my kids," she commented. She reflected on her growing feelings for Mucklow, saying, "I just feel like I fall in love with him more and more every day." She described their relationship as "perfect in the sense that we work, we understand each other, but we’ve grown together."

Tribble, who found fame on Love Island before joining TOWIE, has never envisioned a large, traditional white wedding. The idea of all eyes being on her is daunting, and she anticipates being a bride who prioritizes her guests' enjoyment. "Even though obviously the focus is on me, I’ll probably still be worried about everyone else," she said.

Her children are expected to be involved in the ceremony. "It would be nice to obviously have the kids involved, as long as I get a kind of night off as a kid," she joked.

Tribble also highlighted the close relationship she has developed with her future sister-in-law, Billi Mucklow, describing her as "incredible," "thoughtful," and "mindful." The couple got engaged on New Year's Eve, with Mucklow proposing with a large red heart display on their hotel balcony. They met on TOWIE in 2018 and confirmed their relationship in 2019. Their first son, Abel, was born in 2020, and their second child arrived in 2025.
