Shayna Baszler to Make TNA Debut at Bound for Glory

Shayna Baszler is set to make her Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA) debut at the upcoming Bound for Glory event. She will team with Zoey Serrano to challenge the current champions, Allie and Kiera Hogan, for the Knockouts Tag Team Championship.

The challenge was issued by Allie and Hogan on a recent episode of "Impact," where they declared themselves "fighting champions" ready to face any challengers. Serrano, who has had a contentious relationship with the duo in recent weeks, accepted the challenge and sought a partner.

Baszler, a former WWE NXT women's champion and three-time tag team champion, accepted Serrano's proposition, stating her willingness to join as long as there was an opportunity for confrontation. This partnership marks a reunion for Baszler and Serrano, who previously teamed together in WWE in pursuit of tag team championships without achieving the goal.

Bound for Glory is scheduled to take place on Sunday in Tampa, Florida, and will also feature the TNA Hall of Fame induction ceremony for Amazing Red, Konnan, and ODB, as well as an appearance by Mickie James. The event's card includes several other championship matches and a Falls Count Anywhere match featuring Matt and Jeff Hardy.

Baszler's professional wrestling career began in the mid-2010s before joining WWE in 2017. Her transition to TNA follows her departure from WWE, placing her back in contention for a championship alongside Serrano.
