Sharon Osbourne Recalls Botched Plastic Surgery That Left a Dent in Her Face
The television personality described waking up to an unexpected result after a cosmetic procedure on "The Osbournes" podcast.
Sharon Osbourne, 74, recounted an alarming experience following a plastic surgery procedure that resulted in an "indentation" on her face. She shared the story during a recent episode of "The Osbournes" podcast with her son, Jack Osbourne.
When asked if she had ever been scared going into a procedure, Osbourne stated, "I have when I’ve woken up and seen the mistakes." She then described one instance where she woke up to find a dark discoloration extending from her upper lip to her chin, leaving a noticeable dent. "What the hell?" she recalled thinking at the time.
Osbourne speculated that the surgeon might have been interrupted during the procedure, perhaps taking a phone call. She explained that she returned to the surgeon to complain about the outcome. "You go, 'What is in this that you’re injecting me with?'" she said, recounting the surgeon's response that it was a "special concoction" that would work. However, Osbourne stated, "it didn’t f–king work" and left her with the indentation.
Despite Osbourne's description, both Jack Osbourne and his wife, Aree Gearhart, who were present on the podcast, stated that they did not see the alleged dent.
Osbourne also reflected on the broader issues surrounding cosmetic surgery, including the commitment to ongoing procedures to maintain a consistent appearance. She noted that while her face might appear younger, other parts of her body might not, creating a disjunction in age presentation. She also described the recovery process as "brutal."
When asked if she was finished with cosmetic procedures, Osbourne questioned, "Oh Jack. Who am I doing it for now?" seemingly referencing her late husband, Ozzy Osbourne.
This is not the first time Osbourne has spoken about negative experiences with plastic surgery. In 2023, she had publicly stated she was done with plastic surgery after a 2021 facelift left her feeling she looked like a "f—king Cyclops." She told The Sun at the time, "I really f–king pushed it with the last facelift and I am now like, no more." She added that "time is against me" and she could not undergo another facelift.
