Actor Shane Richie has reportedly sold his family home in Surrey, an 18-year residence valued at £1.75 million, following the dissolution of his 19-year marriage to Christie Goddard. The five-bedroom property was placed on the market in March and has now been sold subject to contract, according to reports.

The divorce between Richie, 62, and Goddard, 47, was said to have been finalized on July 23. Their split reportedly stemmed from Goddard growing "fed-up with his spiralling behaviour," with a source telling The Sun that she was "at the end of her tether" and that the decision was not based on a single incident but a "build-up of things."

The couple, who share three children, purchased the house in 2008 and undertook renovations, including an extension that added a dressing room and an orangery. A source indicated that the intention is for them to move into separate homes this year, emphasizing their efforts to manage the divorce amicably for their children.

Goddard has confirmed the divorce and updated her social media status to reflect it. Reports had previously raised questions about the marriage, including Goddard's termination as director of their joint company, Bluebelle Skye Productions, in June.

The sale of the home follows an incident on July 29 at a Tesco petrol station in Harlow, Essex. Richie was challenged for vaping on the premises, an act prohibited by petrol station companies due to fire risk, though not a specific legal offense. Footage showed Richie engaging with staff, at one point stating "I don't give a f***" before the manager contacted police, citing his aggressive behavior. Richie was subsequently arrested and charged with drink-driving, with a court appearance scheduled for next month. The source added that Goddard was shocked by the arrest and hopes it will serve as a wake-up call for Richie.

Richie and Goddard married in 2007, having met in 2001. Goddard's primary concern, according to a source, is their three children, and she had not forced Richie out of the family home.
