Actress Shailene Woodley responded to questions about her ex-fiancé Aaron Rodgers with laughter when approached by reporters on Sunday. Woodley was attending MPTF’s 20th Annual Evening Before event in West Hollywood, California, when a reporter asked for her comment on Rodgers' recent remarks.
Woodley and a companion simply chuckled and smiled at the camera as they entered the event. Social media users reacted positively to her dismissive response, with one commenter stating, “Nice try Aaron, she is winninggggg.” Another wrote, “Love that she just laughed it off.”
Rodgers had recently claimed on the "Not Just Football with Cam Heyward" podcast that Woodley was at the "height of [her] fame" during their relationship. He suggested that his famous exes, including Woodley and Danica Patrick, seek attention by mentioning his name.
These comments followed Woodley's Emmy win for Outstanding Guest Actress in a Drama Series for her role in Hulu's "Paradise." During the same podcast appearance, Rodgers also alleged that Woodley asked to be intimate with another person after accepting his proposal in December 2020. He stated that she "took off the ring" by March 2021.
Rodgers further criticized Woodley for speaking about him publicly after their final breakup in February 2022, demanding that she "move on with your life. Don’t mention me."
Sources close to Woodley reportedly expressed alarm over Rodgers' remarks, questioning why a married individual would discuss a former partner with whom he had not spoken in over two years. Rodgers confirmed his marriage to a woman identified as "Brittani" in June 2025.
