Seven individuals have been charged in connection with vandalism at Donald Trump's Turnberry golf course in Ayrshire, Scotland, with prosecutors alleging a "terrorist connection" to the incident. The charges stem from an event in March 2025 when graffiti was spray-painted on the property and damage was inflicted on the golf course greens.
Police were called to the Trump Turnberry course on March 8, 2025. According to court documents, the accused "maliciously damaged property" at the resort. This included digging up turf, spraying weed killer on fairways and greens, and painting political and offensive slogans on a building, walls, and pillars. The indictment also states that a sprinkler system was damaged, causing flooding, and a light was also broken.
The words "Gaza is not for sale" were painted on a lawn, and red paint was sprayed on the clubhouse. "Free Gaza" was also spray-painted in red on a wall at the resort.
The seven individuals charged are Kieran Robson, 35; Uzma Bashir, 56; Ricky Southall, 34; Autumn Taylor Ward, 22; Rebecca Sian Davies, 29; John Moxley, 58; and Dylan Chiaramello, 24. A preliminary hearing for the group, initially scheduled for Monday at the High Court in Glasgow, has been postponed to October.
Prosecutors intend to prove that the offense was aggravated by a "terrorist connection." Three of the defendants – Robson, Bashir, and Davies – also face charges of attempting to defeat the ends of justice, accused of driving to and from the resort using vehicles with false registration plates.
The Crown Office has declined to comment on the ongoing case.
