Late-night host Seth Meyers showcased a compilation of video clips featuring Donald Trump being booed at multiple sporting events. The montage included footage from the recent World Cup final, where Trump was met with jeers after appearing on the field post-match. The final, held between Spain and Argentina, was one of several events where the former president experienced this reception.
Meyers also presented clips of Trump being booed at the FIFA Club World Cup final, the U.S. Open tennis tournament, an NFL game, and the NBA Finals. "At this point I’m guessing Trump’s staff tries to make him feel better by telling him he’s just being followed around by ghosts," Meyers quipped during the segment. He further joked, "If that montage gets any longer we’re going to have to release it on DVD."
