Seth Curry Criticizes Warriors' Roster Woes
NBA player Seth Curry voiced concerns over the Golden State Warriors' depleted roster early in the season.
Seth Curry, brother of Warriors star Stephen Curry, has publicly criticized the team's roster situation amid a difficult start to the NBA season. The Warriors have been hampered by numerous player absences, forcing them to deploy unconventional lineups.
In the second game of the season, Golden State utilized two-way player Graham Ike as their starting center against the Memphis Grizzlies. This move prompted Seth Curry, who played for the Warriors during the 2025-26 season but was limited to 10 games due to injuries, to share his perspective on the team's struggles.
"With all due respect to Ike. A 2-way starting for the dubs in game 2 is tough," Seth Curry posted on Threads, highlighting the dire circumstances. The Warriors have begun the campaign with back-to-back losses.
The team's roster issues extend beyond a lack of available centers. Kristaps Porzingis, acquired in the offseason to a two-year, $40 million deal, is currently sidelined indefinitely with an undisclosed health issue. Additionally, the Warriors have been without big man Charles Bassey and Al Horford, who is managing back problems.
These absences have impacted the team's performance early in the season, drawing criticism from fans who were already discontent with the front office's perceived inactivity during the offseason. The Warriors missed the playoffs last year, and the current state of the roster does not inspire confidence for a deep postseason run this season.
