A man on trial for the murders of two sex workers and the attack of a third had a link to a website with "rape" in its title saved on his computer, the Old Bailey heard on Thursday. Simon Levy, 40, is accused of killing Carmenza Valencia-Trujillo, 53, and Sheryl Wilkins, 39, and leaving a third woman for dead.

Prosecutor Tom Little KC told the jury that a document titled 'sex' was found on Levy's computer. This document contained a web address that led to a section of a website described as containing 'forced porn videos,' with the search terms 'gang' and 'rape' present in the URL. The court was informed there was no record of Levy accessing the website using the computer or any seized devices, only that the link had been saved.

The surviving victim, who is 35 and cannot be named, testified last week that she believed she was "going to die" after Levy allegedly broke her collarbone, smothered, and raped her in a car park in Tottenham, north London, in January of the previous year. The court has been informed that Levy has 13 previous convictions for sexual assault, with six of these occurring during the period he is alleged to have committed the rape and murders.

Carmenza Valencia-Trujillo's body was discovered two months later in a block of disused flats in Southwark, south-east London. Levy was arrested on April 1, at which point police found the 'sex document' along with other files, including one titled 'my sex record,' which reportedly contained a list of women he claimed to have had sexual encounters with.

These entries, most of which did not name the women but referred to them by descriptions such as 'witch,' 'Irish traveller,' and 'Somalian lady,' were created in May 2024 and last modified on the evening of Ms Valencia-Trujillo's death on March 16 of the previous year, according to Mr. Little's closing speech. The final entry, number 19, allegedly described a woman as an "Average build middle age Latina - J-Lo booty - crazier chick."

Five months after Ms Valencia-Trujillo's death, for which Levy was on bail, he is alleged to have killed Sheryl Wilkins, 39. Her body was found in the same car park where the earlier rape is said to have occurred.

Levy's defense counsel, Siobhan Grey KC, informed the court on Monday that Levy had chosen not to testify during the trial. He denies two counts of murder, two counts of rape, grievous bodily harm with intent, and non-fatal suffocation. The trial is ongoing.
