Selma Blair Continues Work Amid Assault Arrest
Actress reportedly busy with film projects and brand deals, maintaining scheduled public appearances.
Selma Blair is maintaining her professional commitments, including film projects and public appearances, despite her recent arrest on assault charges. A source close to the actress told Page Six that Blair has been "very busy working" and was actively filming projects as recently as the past week.
Blair was arrested on Sunday following an incident on a Delta Airlines flight from Los Angeles to New York, where she allegedly assaulted two flight attendants. She was subsequently taken to a hospital for treatment and, according to reports, allegedly kicked a police officer and bit a nurse upon arrival.
She appeared in a Queens, New York court on Monday night, facing two counts of second-degree assault. Blair pleaded not guilty, and her legal team stated that the incident was "not intentional," attributing it to a "medical emergency" and a missed dose of medication for her multiple sclerosis symptoms.
Despite the legal proceedings, Blair is scheduled to appear at the 90s Con fan convention this weekend, where she will participate in meet-and-greets and sign autographs. She has upcoming projects including "Schmoolie the Deathwatcher" and "Ethan Almighty," as well as ongoing business partnerships.
Blair faces potential prison time of two to seven years if convicted. Her next court appearance is scheduled for January 19, 2027. Representatives for the actress did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
