Selma Blair Apologizes for Midflight Incident
Actress expresses remorse for actions on Delta flight, citing ongoing legal proceedings.
Actress Selma Blair issued an apology Friday, weeks after her arrest for allegedly assaulting flight attendants and attempting to open a door during a Delta flight. Blair, 54, stated that her legal team has advised her against making detailed comments due to the ongoing legal matter. However, she expressed remorse, saying, "Not one day ever have I intended to hurt or frighten anyone a day in my life. And so to the people I disappointed, I hurt, I frightened, alarmed I am so sorry."
In an Instagram video, reportedly filmed at her home, Blair shared that she would be focusing on her health and her son, concluding with a message of gratitude and love to her supporters. Blair was arrested for assault and arraigned in a New York court following the incident. The details surrounding the event and Blair's motivations remain under legal review.
