Selena Gomez and Demi Lovato have rekindled their friendship and collaborated for a new campaign for Gomez's beauty brand, Rare Beauty. The duo recreated the iconic poster for their 2009 Disney Channel movie, "Princess Protection Program," for the "Delena Soft Pinch Blush Bundle."

In the recreated image, Gomez and Lovato sport gowns and tiaras while sitting atop a pile of luggage, mirroring the original movie poster. Gomez shared the photo on Instagram with the caption, "Once a Princess, always a Princess 👑💗. Best friends don’t just have each other’s backs. They make them blush too. @ddlovato @rarebeauty."

The limited-edition bundle, priced at $50, includes two shades of Rare Beauty's Soft Pinch Liquid Blush, Hope and Virtue, along with a blush brush. Gomez, wearing an Oscar de la Renta gown, and Lovato, in a Leo Lin mini dress, updated their looks from the original film.

According to a press release from Rare Beauty, "The reunion the internet has been manifesting for years is finally here." Gomez stated in the release, "Coming together for this campaign was a beautiful reminder of that history and a chance to celebrate who we are today. One and the same….always."

Lovato echoed these sentiments, sharing, "Selena and I have shared a lot of memories over the years since childhood. So being able to connect in this way, in a campaign that feels so nostalgic to both of us, is such a full-circle moment."

The two stars, who have been friends for nearly 25 years since meeting at age seven while auditioning for "Barney," had a public falling out in the past. Lovato acknowledged the rift in a 2020 interview with Harper's Bazaar, stating, "When you grow up with somebody, you’re always going to have love for them. But I’m not friends with her… I will always have love for her, and I wish everybody nothing but the best."

However, the friendship appeared to mend when Gomez attended Lovato's concert in April, marking their first public appearance together in a decade.
