Security Guard Lands Modeling Contract After Viral London Fashion Week Appearance

A security guard has secured a modeling contract after a video of him working at London Fashion Week went viral on social media.

Soufian Boucetta, 24, was working security at the Simone Rocha show when a video of him gained significant attention online. The post, captioned “Sorry Simone Rocha, the collection was amazing, but the security guy had the girls and the gays staring!”, garnered over 900,000 views.

Following the video's widespread reach, Boucetta received direct messages from modeling agencies globally. He stated, "I was standing there doing my job and a few people were looking at me, but I am used to this. I know that is going to happen, but I was just focused on my work."

Boucetta, originally from Spain, ultimately decided to sign with PRM agency in London. The agency is known for representing models such as Agel Akol, Yilan Hua, and Athiec Geng.

He has begun practicing his catwalk and participating in modeling photoshoots. "My life is very different. I am starting to really like modelling," Boucetta said. "Whatever comes is going to be good for me."

Boucetta moved to the UK four years ago, initially working in construction before transitioning to private security. He has provided security for numerous public figures, including Rihanna, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, Jason Statham, and Aaron Pierre. Boucetta mentioned that throughout his life, people have frequently suggested he pursue modeling due to his height and appearance, comments he previously dismissed.

"My whole family are tall. Every time I go to the supermarket or to get the train, people say how tall I am. I am used to it now; it is normal," he stated. "I was always told that I had a good face, I was tall, and I was thin. In one day I would have 15 people come tell me that I am handsome and I have to be a model."

While he continues to work in security part-time, Boucetta anticipates a full-time career in modeling. "I love my job and I love what I do. It is a new world and a new start in modelling. I am excited to meet people," he added.
