The U.S. Secret Service is aware of a video broadcast on Iranian state media that poses a threat to Barron Trump, the youngest son of former President Donald Trump. The video reportedly depicts locations associated with Barron Trump and suggests a $10 million reward for information regarding his whereabouts.

"The U.S. Secret Service is aware of the video and investigates anything that can be perceived as a threat toward our protectees," Secret Service spokesperson Nate Herring told Fox News Digital. Herring added that due to operational security concerns, the agency does not discuss specific protective intelligence matters.

The appearance of the video follows previous threats against Trump and his family originating from Iranian state media. These threats have surfaced on multiple occasions, particularly after events such as the assassination of Iran's Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and the U.S. airstrike that killed Iranian General Qasem Soleimani in 2020.

Deputy Director of the U.S. Secret Service Matt Quinn stated last month that Iran has publicly expressed a desire to harm President Trump. This acknowledgment indicates a pattern of escalating rhetoric and potential threats from Iranian sources.

The recent video emerged amid broader tensions between the United States and Iran. These tensions have included U.S. administration warnings to nations maintaining economic ties with Tehran and an ongoing naval blockade in the Strait of Hormuz. In July, reports indicated that former President Trump had to switch aircraft in Turkey due to a credible threat of an Iranian surface-to-air missile.

The White House has referred all inquiries regarding the video threat to the Secret Service. The agency, tasked with protecting current and former U.S. presidents and their families, is actively investigating the matter.
