Boston police are seeking the public's assistance in identifying a second suspect wanted in connection with the armed robbery of a children's lemonade stand on June 10. The incident occurred on West Ninth Street in South Boston, where siblings David and Juliette Byrne, aged 12 and 11 respectively, were selling lemonade.

According to the Boston Police Department, two juvenile suspects approached the stand. One displayed a firearm tucked into his waistband, while the other took the cash box, which contained about $50. The pair then fled the scene. Authorities arrested a 14-year-old boy two days later and charged him with armed robbery and unlawful possession of a firearm.

The second suspect, who remains at large, is described as shirtless and wearing black pants and a black backpack. Images released by the police department show the individual in dark clothing.

Following the robbery, the South Boston community showed support for the Byrne siblings. They reopened their lemonade stand two days later, attracting a large crowd, including Boston Mayor Michelle Wu and City Councilor Ed Flynn. City Councilor Flynn stated that half of the profits from the reopened stand would be donated to a local gun violence prevention organization.

"I just was like a little annoyed because we were 12 and 11 and you shouldn’t really do that," David Byrne told reporters. Their father, Dave Byrne, expressed concern about the incident occurring in their community and called for increased neighborhood presence to deter similar events.
