Search efforts are ongoing for Marly Kinney, 19, who was last seen on Wednesday afternoon at Grayson Lake, Kentucky. The captain of the boat she was on, 23-year-old Cameron Conley, has been arrested and charged with operating a boat while under the influence. According to a citation filed in Carter District Court, Conley's blood alcohol level was allegedly measured at .137, nearly twice the legal limit in Kentucky, with a subsequent test at .135.

Conley reported to Grayson Lake Marina staff that he could not locate a female passenger on his boat, prompting a response from Kentucky State Police and Kentucky Fish and Wildlife. Officers noted the smell of alcohol on Conley, along with bloodshot and glassy eyes, and he admitted to drinking, according to court documents. He was taken to the Carter County Detention Center but has since been released.

Kinney was last seen around 4 p.m. on Wednesday near a landmark known locally as 'Sex Rock.' A witness boating nearby stated she saw Kinney and her group jumping from the rocks around 2:20 p.m. Wednesday and that they remained in the area for at least 10 to 20 minutes afterward.

Kinney's family described her as wearing a pink-orange strapless bikini and likely no shoes, with gold jewelry and a dainty gold cross necklace. Her public Instagram account shows she follows an individual with the same name as the boat captain.

The search for Kinney has been hampered by weather conditions, including on-and-off rain, and was paused Friday night due to darkness. Multiple agencies are involved in the search, utilizing aerial support, drones, boats, and K9 units. The Kentucky State Police stated on Saturday that weather remained an issue, and the Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife Resources, which is leading the missing person investigation, has focused its efforts on locating Kinney. Officials have not released the name of the person who reported Kinney missing. Conley is scheduled for arraignment on July 22.
