A search is ongoing for a missing jet skier in Long Beach after a woman, who had been with him, was rescued from the water Sunday night. The U.S. Coast Guard and the Long Beach Fire Department were alerted around 10:00 p.m. to reports of two missing riders near Alamitos Bay Landing.

Fishermen in the area heard a woman yelling for assistance and notified the Long Beach Fire Department shortly after 10:30 p.m. Fire officials located the woman, in her 40s, clinging to rocks on the breakwater between Queen's Gate and the Los Angeles Light. She was transported to a local hospital in stable condition.

The two individuals had entered the water as part of a group earlier that evening. Authorities have not released the identities of either the rescued woman or the missing man. The male rider, who is 54 years old, was reportedly not wearing a life jacket.

Investigators located both jet skis outside the breakwater early Monday morning, recovering one at 1:15 a.m. and the second at 1:45 a.m. The search for the missing man was continuing Monday morning.
