Fox News host Sean Hannity began an interview on Wednesday evening by correcting his guest, progressive Democratic candidate for Congress in Pennsylvania Chris Rabb, who mistakenly referred to him as "Scott."
"Chris Rabb joins us now," Hannity said before the interview. "Chris, appreciate you coming."
"My pleasure," Rabb replied. "Thank you, Scott."
"My name is not Scott," Hannity responded. "My name is Sean."
Rabb then said, "No worries, no worries."
Hannity had spent nearly two minutes criticizing Rabb's democratic socialist agenda before the interview commenced. It remains unclear whether the guest's misstatement was an unintentional error or a deliberate tactic.
