Sean 'Diddy' Combs Transferred to Pennsylvania Correctional Facility
The music mogul was moved from a New Jersey facility to FCI Allenwood Low, described as a low-security federal correctional institution.
Sean "Diddy" Combs has been transferred from a correctional facility in New Jersey to a federal prison in Pennsylvania, according to the U.S. Federal Bureau of Prisons. The transfer to FCI Allenwood Low, a low-security facility, occurred on Friday.
A spokesperson for Combs stated that the move from one low-security facility to another was made with "safety and security in mind" and is consistent with that decision. The spokesperson declined to comment on reports regarding Combs' lifestyle behind bars or his health and treatment in custody, citing privacy and security reasons.
Combs, 56, is currently serving a 50-month sentence and has filed an appeal seeking his release from prison and the overturning of his conviction on two prostitution-related charges.
FCI Allenwood Low, located approximately 155 miles west of New York City, houses around 1,044 male offenders. This population is significantly smaller than the over 4,200 inmates at Combs' previous facility, Fort Dix. Nearby facilities at Allenwood include medium and maximum-security institutions.
Officials with the Federal Bureau of Prisons declined to comment on any specific individual's conditions of confinement, citing policy on privacy, safety, and security.
