Sean "Diddy" Combs was transported from the Fort Dix Federal Correctional Institution in New Jersey for a medical emergency early Saturday morning, according to TMZ. Sources told the outlet that an ambulance was seen leaving the prison around 1 a.m. ET.
Combs was reportedly treated for a head injury, which is not believed to be life-threatening. Insiders cited by TMZ stated that he was conscious and speaking when he was returned to the prison before sunrise on Saturday. The circumstances leading to his injury remain unclear.
Combs was convicted on two counts of transportation for prostitution in July and sentenced to 50 months in prison.
