Sean 'Diddy' Combs Reportedly Enjoys 'Pampered' Prison Life
Inmates claim the rapper has access to cooks, cellphones, and alcohol while serving his sentence.
Sean "Diddy" Combs is reportedly living a "pampered" life while serving his 50-month sentence at FCI Fort Dix in New Jersey, according to anonymous sources who spent time in the same unit.
These individuals told NBC News that Combs has others cook and clean for him, and that he receives Chinese-style massages. "This is not some normal s--t you see in jail. This is some rich s--t," one source stated. "It looks crazy, but again, it’s Diddy."
Combs allegedly pays fellow inmates to clean his toilet and shower area, and to secretly prepare meals such as curry chicken, pizza, and empanadas. One source claimed to have stopped cooking for Combs after a while, noting that the rapper then turned to "the Jamaicans."
Sources also allege that Combs uses a contraband cellphone to access social media and view explicit photos sent by an ex-girlfriend. He is also reportedly in possession of antidepressant drugs and a hidden stash of premium liquor, which is allegedly smuggled in by guards and shared with a select group of inmates.
In a statement to Page Six, a representative for Combs asserted that the "continued scrutiny of every mundane detail of Sean Combs’s life in prison has reached the point where the media characterizes ordinary prison life as news." The statement added, "The only real news is that Sean continues to serve his sentence within the rules and he patiently awaits the court’s decision on his appeal."
A spokesperson for the Bureau of Prisons told NBC News that they do not comment on inmate conditions for privacy, safety, and security reasons. The spokesperson also noted that contraband, particularly cell phones, narcotics, and weapons, remains a persistent challenge that the bureau is actively working to address.
Combs was convicted last July on two counts of transportation for prostitution and sentenced to 50 months in prison. He was transferred from the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, New York, to FCI Fort Dix. His release date is currently scheduled for January 21, 2028.
