Sean "Diddy" Combs, currently serving a 50-month sentence at Fort Dix in New Jersey, has reportedly recreated aspects of his luxurious lifestyle behind bars by enlisting fellow inmates to cater to his needs. According to NBC News, four men who share a unit with Combs described how the music mogul has essentially hired a full staff among the incarcerated population.

"He’s a billionaire. People are in awe of him," one anonymous source told the outlet. "Money is power, especially behind bars."

These reports suggest Combs has access to comforts beyond typical prison accommodations, including freshly made beds, prepared meals, clean laundry, and massages. One source described the situation as "not some normal s--- you see in jail. This is some rich s---."

Beyond personal services, Combs has allegedly obtained contraband cellphones, explicit photos, prescription pills, and premium liquor. The cellphones are reportedly used to access Instagram and view explicit images. He is also said to have purchased Remeron, an antidepressant, from other inmates. On weekend nights, Combs has allegedly accessed a stash of top-shelf liquor smuggled into the prison, sharing it with a select group of individuals.

Furthermore, Combs is reported to have acquired a "jailbroken" tablet for watching movies, including "Sean Combs: The Reckoning." "You can pretty much get anything except a key to the front door and a female," one of the sources commented on the extent of available contraband.

However, a representative for Combs pushed back against these reports, dismissing the scrutiny as an exaggeration of ordinary prison life. "The continued scrutiny of every mundane detail of Sean Combs’s life in prison has reached the point where the media characterizes ordinary prison life as news," the representative told Fox News Digital. "The only real news is that Sean continues to serve his sentence within the rules, and he patiently awaits the court’s decision on his appeal."

Combs was sentenced on October 3, 2025, to 50 months in prison followed by five years of supervised release and a $500,000 fine. He was transferred to Fort Dix to begin serving his sentence later that month. His projected release date is January 21, 2028. The rapper's eight-week trial concluded on July 2, 2025, with acquittals on the most serious charges of sex-trafficking and racketeering. Combs's legal team has filed an appeal, arguing that the sentence was unlawful because the judge reportedly considered charges that the jury had rejected.
