Sean "Diddy" Combs has reportedly been placed in solitary confinement following an altercation with another inmate at the Federal Correctional Institution (FCI) Fort Dix in New Jersey, where he is serving a 50-month sentence.

Reports indicate the physical fight began after the unidentified inmate made a comment to Combs. Sources cited by TMZ stated that the music mogul "held his own" during the confrontation, which was quickly stopped by prison staff. It remains unclear if the other inmate also faced disciplinary action.

Combs, 56, began his sentence at Fort Dix in October after being convicted last year on two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution. The prison was chosen for its drug rehabilitation program and its proximity to his family. His current projected release date is February 2028, though this could be affected by disciplinary issues.

His high-profile trial last year included testimony from his former girlfriend Casandra "Cassie" Ventura, who alleged a history of physical abuse, rape, and forced sexual encounters involving drugs during their relationship.

A representative for Combs declined to comment when reached by Fox News Digital. The Federal Bureau of Prisons stated that it does not release information regarding inmate housing assignments or disciplinary actions for privacy, safety, and security reasons.
