Sean Combs Reportedly Enjoys VIP Treatment in Prison

Sean "Diddy" Combs, the disgraced music mogul, is reportedly living a VIP lifestyle within Fort Dix federal prison in New Jersey. Four individuals who shared a unit with Combs, speaking anonymously to NBC News, described him spending thousands of dollars each month to sustain a pampered existence.

According to these sources, Combs has access to a cell phone, contraband alcohol, and inmates who cater to his needs. This includes services like cooking special meals, cleaning his living space, and providing Chinese-style massages. "This is not some normal s–t you see in jail. This is some rich s–t," one of the men told the outlet. "It looks crazy, but again, it’s Diddy."

Combs allegedly uses contraband cellphones to access social media and view explicit photos sent by an old girlfriend. He also reportedly possesses a modified tablet to watch movies and documentaries. He has also been known to purchase prescription medication, such as Remeron, for other inmates, which is sometimes traded on the prison's black market.

During weekends, Combs is said to share premium liquor smuggled in by guards with a select group of inmates. Payments for these services are reportedly funneled from individuals outside the prison to commissary accounts of inmates assisting him. One inmate described preparing meals for Combs, including curry chicken, pizza, and empanadas, until he tired of the task.

Combs was convicted on two counts of transportation for prostitution in July 2025 and sentenced to 50 months. His attorneys had advocated for him to be sent to Fort Dix, known for its drug treatment program, which can lead to a reduced sentence. However, sources claim that shortly after his arrival and participation in the program, Combs began acquiring contraband.

In July, Combs was reportedly placed in solitary confinement after an altercation with another inmate, leading to his removal from the drug treatment program. Despite this, sources indicate he resumed his privileged lifestyle upon release from isolation, with a team of inmates attending to his needs.

"He’s a billionaire. People are in awe of him," one source stated. "Money is power, especially behind bars."

Combs' spokesperson responded to the reporting, stating, "The continued scrutiny of every mundane detail of Sean Combs’s life in prison has reached the point where the media characterizes ordinary prison life as news." The spokesperson added, "The only real news is that Sean continues to serve his sentence while awaiting the court’s decision on his appeal."

Federal Bureau of Prisons records indicate Combs' release date is currently projected for January 21, 2028, an update from his original release date of June 2028. His legal team is pursuing an appeal.
