Sean Combs' Family Denies Prison Fight Report
Loved ones of the incarcerated rapper state reports of an altercation are 'completely false' following his hospitalization for a head injury.
Family members of Sean "Diddy" Combs have refuted claims that the rapper was involved in a fight with another inmate at the Fort Dix prison in New Jersey. The denial comes after reports surfaced alleging Combs was hospitalized over the weekend due to a head injury sustained in an altercation.
Loren LoRosa, speaking on “The Breakfast Club,” stated that a family member of Combs insisted "there was not a fight at all." This contradicts reports from TMZ, which claimed Combs had an altercation with Christopher Coke, also known as "Dudus."
Combs was taken to the hospital on Saturday for a head injury. Initial reports from Page Six suggested he hit his head on a bunk bed. However, the subsequent TMZ report alleged a fight involving a Jamaican drug lord.
LoRosa addressed the discrepancy, noting that Combs is typically guarded when outside his Special Housing Unit and that he and Coke are housed on different sides of the prison. While Combs' family is uncertain of the exact cause of his injury, they maintain it was "definitely wasn’t anything crazy."
Combs is currently serving a 50-month sentence after being convicted on two counts of transportation for prostitution. His family expressed dismay over the breach of privacy regarding his hospitalization.
A representative for the Federal Bureau of Prisons told Page Six that an altercation between Combs and Coke "did not happen."
