Sean Combs Faces New Write-Ups in Prison for Fights, Cell Phone Use

Sean “Diddy” Combs has reportedly received multiple disciplinary write-ups during his incarceration at FCI Fort Dix in New Jersey, stemming from alleged fights and violations related to cell phone use. These infractions have led to a reduction in his good-time credit and commissary privileges.

According to Jose Rojas, the union secretary representing Bureau of Prisons employees, Combs was cited on July 31 and September 30 for alleged altercations. A further major violation was documented on October 1. Additionally, Combs was cited for two separate cell phone violations on July 7 and September 19, 2025.

The cumulative effect of these violations has resulted in Combs losing 41 days of good-time credit, which could impact his potential for early release. He has also forfeited 400 days of commissary privileges, limiting his ability to purchase snacks and other items.

Rojas indicated that such disciplinary issues could lead to an inmate being classified as “disruptive,” potentially leading to a transfer to another facility. A representative for Combs was not immediately available for comment.

This news follows reports that Combs's projected release date has been moved from January 21, 2028, to March 2, 2028. The Bureau of Prisons reportedly provided these records on October 8, though specific reasons for the disciplinary actions were not detailed in that context.

Earlier reports had alleged a lavish lifestyle for Combs within the prison, including claims of access to contraband cell phones, special meals, and massages. A representative for Combs previously stated that the scrutiny of his prison life was excessive, asserting that he was serving his sentence according to the rules and awaiting a court decision on his appeal. Combs is currently serving a 50-month sentence after being found guilty on two counts of transportation for prostitution in July 2025.
