Seahawks Face Broncos in Thursday Night Football Rematch

The Seattle Seahawks and Denver Broncos are set to clash on Thursday Night Football, a Week 6 matchup that renews the rivalry from Super Bowl XLVIII. Kickoff is scheduled for 8:15 p.m. ET at Empower Field at Mile High in Denver.

Both teams arrive at this game with a 3-2 record, with the winner poised to gain an advantage by moving to 4-2, while the loser will fall to a .500 record.

The Broncos are coming off a 23-17 victory over the Los Angeles Chargers in their previous outing, a win that sent their AFC West rivals to an 0-5 start to the season. However, that win was accompanied by a significant coaching adjustment, with offensive coordinator Davis Webb being stripped of play-calling duties due to the team's offensive struggles.

"It’s successful with a win, that’s all that matters," Broncos tackle Mike McGlinchey commented on the team's situation. "We got one in the W column, no matter what’s happening."

Despite their recent win, the Broncos are considered underdogs for Thursday's game. Oddsmakers have listed Seattle as a 2.5-point favorite, largely attributed to the Seahawks' strong defensive performance.

The game is being streamed exclusively on Amazon Prime Video. New subscribers can access a 30-day free trial of Amazon Prime, which includes Prime Video and other benefits such as free two-day shipping. After the trial period, Amazon Prime costs $14.99 per month or $139 per year. A discounted Prime for Young Adults membership is available for individuals aged 18-24.

This marks the second encounter between these two franchises in a primetime Thursday Night Football slot since their Super Bowl XLVIII meeting, which Seattle won decisively, 43-8.
