Scott Wolf has publicly shown support for his estranged wife, Kelley, after she revealed she suffered from "drug-induced mania with psychosis" last year, leading to erratic behavior and public statements that drew significant attention.

Kelley Wolf shared an emotional Instagram post Friday detailing her mental health crisis, for which she offered a profuse apology to the "Party of Five" alum and their three children. Scott Wolf responded to the post with a simple "❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️" in the comments section.

Last August, Kelley Wolf made headlines when she was arrested for harassment and made accusations of abuse against Scott Wolf. At the time, Scott Wolf stated in a public comment that their children's well-being was at stake and provided text messages he claimed showed her intent to make false allegations for legal advantage. He said at the time, "In order to protect my kids, I am providing the text messages she sent to me where she describes this plan, so there are no questions about her intentions, or the malicious intent behind her false allegations made and/or planned for the future."

During her mental health crisis, Kelley Wolf was detained by police and placed on a psychiatric hold. She also shared social media posts, including a video of herself breaking into their family home in Park City, Utah.

In her recent Instagram post, Kelley Wolf stated that her breakdown was influenced by a combination of stress, past trauma, hormonal changes, hallucinogens, and prescription medications. She indicated that she has been working with medical and mental health professionals over the past year. She apologized directly to Scott, stating that she put him through "a nightmare that wouldn’t even fly in a movie script" and acknowledged that her public statements and actions were "not based in truth or reality."

The couple announced their separation in June 2025 after 21 years of marriage, with Scott Wolf subsequently filing for divorce, describing it as "the most difficult decision of my life."

Despite the public nature of their separation and Kelley Wolf's subsequent crisis, the couple reunited with their children for a family outing to Universal Studios Hollywood in February. Scott Wolf commented on the outing to People, stating they were working to rebuild and that "our family deserved to have things not just sit in some kind of awful dark place in terms of perception." He added, "While the work we’re all doing is really the only thing that really matters, it had been made public... I love all of those four people and all of those four people love each other. And so that’s really what matters most."
