Scott Eastwood has detailed a volatile encounter with Shia LaBeouf during the filming of the 2014 war film "Fury," during which he claims he threatened to physically assault LaBeouf. Eastwood recounted the incident, which occurred on set, during an appearance on the "Armchair Expert" podcast.

Eastwood, son of filmmaker Clint Eastwood, described LaBeouf as a "very method" actor who engaged in extreme practices, such as pulling out his own tooth and cutting himself, to prepare for his role as tank gunner Boyd "Bible" Swan. Eastwood stated that he maintained distance from LaBeouf due to his intense approach, expressing a preference for professional conduct.

The confrontation escalated when LaBeouf reportedly took issue with Eastwood spitting tobacco on the tank, an action that was part of the script. Eastwood recounted his response: "And then, I just said, ‘Enough’s enough.’ I said, ‘Hey, f--- you.’ I said, ‘Stop pulling your s---.’ I said, ‘I’m going to whoop your a--.’"

According to Eastwood, the situation was diffused by other members of the cast, including Brad Pitt, who reportedly intervened to de-escalate the tension between the two actors.

This is not the first time Eastwood has spoken about challenging behavior within the film industry. He also recalled an instance where an unnamed actor abruptly left a film project after production had already begun, causing significant disruption and financial implications. Eastwood criticized this actor's decision to abandon the project, especially considering the substantial investment made, stating that the actor should have repaid the money.

Eastwood has previously credited his father's work ethic for making him aware of unprofessional conduct in Hollywood. He expressed that while he has witnessed "shocking" behavior in the industry that would not be tolerated elsewhere, he still finds fulfillment in his career.
