Scarlett Moffatt's Post-Pregnancy Photo Shoot
Just 16 days after welcoming her second son, Clark, the "Gogglebox" star participated in her first post-natal photoshoot as the new face of Simply Be's Christmas campaign.
Scarlett Moffatt has returned to work for her first post-pregnancy photoshoot, just 16 days after giving birth to her son, Clark. The 35-year-old star, known for her role on "Gogglebox," announced the arrival of her second child with fiancé Scott Dobinson at the beginning of October. The couple also have a three-year-old son, Jude.
Moffatt is now the face of Simply Be's Christmas campaign, which features a festive collection available in sizes 10 to 32. The line includes loungewear, seasonal items, and party attire. "Having a baby is amazing, but it's also a huge change, and I think it's important to remember to make a little time for yourself too," Moffatt stated about her quick return to work. "For me, fashion is such an easy way to lift my mood and feel more like me."
Moffatt's favorite pieces from the collection include a burgundy faux fur coat and a "Santa Baby" Christmas jumper. She explained her personal philosophy, referencing the idea of "getting your pink back" after childbirth, akin to flamingos regaining their color. "I think it's such a lovely reminder that, when you're busy looking after everyone else including a newborn, it's easy to put yourself at the bottom of the list but I want to help women avoid that."
She described her experience as a mother of two as "special," highlighting the new joy Clark has brought to their family of four. Moffatt shared a moment from when her elder son, Jude, met his newborn brother, posting a picture on Instagram. "The moment Jude met Clark," she wrote. "Watching the boy who first made me a mammy become a big brother is a moment I’ll treasure forever."
When announcing Clark's birth, Moffatt shared, "Our beautiful boy is here! Clark Xander Dobinson. Arriving a little earlier than expected and not quite as straightforward as planned, our little family of four was made complete on Monday. Our hearts have never been so full, and I’d do it all again for you, Clark."
The TV personality also indicated that the birth may have involved a Caesarean section, as she shared images from an operating theater, noting that the birth was not "straightforward."
