Singer Scarlett Lee, known for her appearances on The X Factor and American Idol, has announced the birth of her first child. The 28-year-old singer shared on Instagram that she gave birth to a baby boy on Wednesday evening, August 12, 2026, at 11:05 p.m., with the newborn weighing six pounds and nine ounces. She revealed her son's name is Elias.
Lee shared her joy on social media, writing, "Here he is, Welcome to the world our dream boy Elias born on the 12th of August 2026 at 11:05 pm, weighing 6 pound 9. He was every 11:11 wish, every birthday candle I blew out, he was the main one I’d close my eyes and wish for, every shooting star I searched for, every coin I threw into a wishing well and most of all a prayer I prayed the most and I couldn’t be more happier that I have my son." She also expressed gratitude to her mother for her support.
The singer had previously announced her pregnancy in August 2026, sharing an ultrasound photo and a poem. She stated, "For this child we have prayed and the Lord has granted our hearts desire. Baby Cole coming August 2026. We cannot wait for our next chapter of being mummy and daddy and I cannot wait to share my music journey with our little blessing."
Lee first gained recognition as a contestant on The X Factor in 2017, where she became a fan favorite. She later appeared on American Idol, impressing the judges, including Katy Perry, Luke Bryan, and Lionel Richie, with her rendition of Emeli Sandé's "Clown." Despite her past successes on talent shows, including finishing second on The X Factor, Lee has continued to pursue her singing aspirations, most recently collaborating with Katie Price on new music.
