British designer Savannah Miller, 47, has announced the birth of her fourth child, a baby boy. She shared the first image of her newborn on Instagram on Saturday, two days after giving birth.

Miller described the experience as "deep and profound ecstasy," writing, "Tiny boy arrived safe and well on Thursday evening. I have no words for the deep and profound ecstasy of this time…. More soon but for now we soak up the bliss."

This is Miller's first child with her second husband, James Whewell. The couple had announced they were expecting in March, following a "complicated" fertility journey.

Savannah Miller, who is also mother to Moses, 21, Lyra, 18, and Bali, 14, from her first marriage, shared that her sister Sienna Miller's decision to have a third child at 43 served as an inspiration. Savannah stated that seeing her sister's approach to motherhood made her feel capable of handling another baby.

Sienna Miller welcomed her third child in May. Savannah had expressed that when her sister announced her third pregnancy in 2025, she felt it was a "sign" and decided she was "all in" for having another child in her forties.

Savannah met James Whewell six months after her divorce from her first husband, Nick Skinner. The couple married in 2022. They began discussing having a child together, and Whewell expressed his support for whatever decision Miller made.

The couple has chosen not to disclose the specifics of their child's conception, stating it is their child's right to decide whether to share that information.

Reflecting on her decision to have a child in her 40s, Miller told British Vogue that she felt a greater sense of presence and wisdom compared to her younger years. "For so long I thought that having another baby in my 40s would mean beginning the motherhood journey all over again – but actually, I realised, I'd be starting from a completely different place this time: a place of much deeper wisdom about parenting and with a completely different partner by my side," she said.

When announcing her pregnancy, Miller shared her excitement about being pregnant simultaneously with her sister. She wrote, "Our longed for miracle baby is joining the gang in August! To be able to relive the magic of pregnancy, with Jim, who is the most deserving and dedicated dad already to my three, is a profound and phenomenal gift."

She added, "To be doing it all over again at the same time as my sister is the most delicious cherry on the icing on the cake." Miller also admitted that getting pregnant at the same time as Sienna was intentional, stating, "If she's doing it again, at least I won't be in the trenches on my own. I'll join her… if I should be so lucky."
